How did summer slip away, and now, with the first supermoon of 2025, the falling leaves have arrived for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere?
I hope this finds you and your family well and that you’re doing something fun, relaxing, or adventurous while enjoying the fruits of the harvest season.
My plate has been full since our last radiance encounter. All the while, you’ve been on my mind as I continue to write, create, play, fall, stumble, and pick myself back up again.
Sometimes, “a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do” to find peace and reignite her spirit. As I step into new realms, how might my failures and victories reflect integral exchanges for you?
As I step into unknown realms, may my failures and victories serve as integral exchanges, reminding you to find peace and reignite your spirit.
Although I have felt alone on some days of quandary, I have attained a natural energy boost. It often comes from taking a stroll in the environmental park or going for a walk with my neighbor. And then there was this other unexpected day when I went for a hike before “the art show”.
Yes, as one friend said, “You did it!”
My painting titled “Conscious Connections” was hung in a collaborative art exhibit in Jaffrey, NH, for over a month. It was such a wonderful feeling to be a showcased artist among others.
I’m sharing the title because it holds a story. So many times I wanted to stop the momentum of this painting. I set it aside, worked on other pieces and projects, and even considered giving up on it altogether. After two years and many moments of doubt, the scene was complete, finally bringing together what had once felt fragmented.
Back to the morning before the opening reception. My daughter, who had so lovingly accompanied me to the prep and art exhibition weekend, and I decided to start the in nature. We planned on taking a leisurely walk, but when we arrived to the Mount Monadnock entrance, the Park Ranger showed us a map of the most popular trail, and we decided to go for a more strenuous hike.
It was Saturday, and there was a bustle on the trail, we joined in and began an incredible 1,600-foot ascent — the heat, the sweat, the rock scrambles we had to climb — it was one of the most challenging moments of my life. The flow of people kept us going — kids even moving quickly in some places. A mom nearby told her child they could get ice cream after the hike. That certainly became our goal. Oh, and a goal to make it in time to the opening of the art show!
After the scramble up and a foggy haze of a view at the top, perhaps from the Canadian fires, we made our way down. The “hard” continued — I kept my eyes on the ground, twisting my ankle only once. I recovered after a day.
To say I wanted to stop many times is an understatement; then, at one point, after my daughter encouraged me, I had to support her, as her nerves kicked in too. When we finally arrived to the bottom of the trail, we smiled with our ice cream, before doing a quick shower and change to make it to the gallery exhibition.
I was overwhelmed with exhilaration and pumped for the opening, which was beyond my wildest imagination.
Walking into the entrance of the Jaffrey Civic Center, up the stairs, and then seeing my painting in full view, discussing my technique as this painting took two years to complete, learning about others’ mediums, and chatting with gallery visitors was surreal.
What creative or untapped talents might be dormant within you? For one, writing my book has sparked many conversations. I shared my stories as an insider’s voice, one that some may never have expressed, yet have experienced similar situations.
My formula for releasing negative thoughts is to face myself, identify areas for growth, and become a woman who shares my true feelings.
I share a lot in my book; it comes out on every page, and I share my joy for life with passion on the canvas.
In the coming weeks, I’ll let you know more about how you can join the “Road trip to the Radiance” conversation.
Harness your brightness like the supercharge in this autumn’s atmosphere.
And then comes the unsavory ache — the pain that traces back to October 7th, 2023. For me being Jewish and many of us where the news and noise of escalating tension persists.
May this time of reflection and compassion bring light to our discourse and guide us out of volatile cycles.
I pray for radiance to pave the path of consciousness where teams surrender to peace, and every life is honored as the sacred vessel it is.
And speaking of containers that help counterbalance life’s unsteadiness — if you’re local, join us this Thursday, October 9th, for an evening of art, poetry, and spoken word. I’ll be reading from my book, sharing a radiance meditation, and exhibiting art from my heart.

Lots of love and light from my heart’s space to yours.
xoxo,
